Volcano in Chile

A volcano that was dormant (no eruptions) for 40 years, erupted on Wednesday in Chile.

The volcano is called the Calbuco volcano. No one knew the volcano was ready to erupt. 4,000 people were evacuated from a town nearby.

Ash covers the area and was 3 feet deep in some areas.
